We collect very little. This site uses Google Analytics only if you click Accept on the cookie notice. We do not sell your information, and we do not use advertising cookies.
Who we are
This website, liveitcg.com, is run by Live Information Technology Consulting Group, LLC, known as LiveIT Consulting Group, a managed IT provider based in Roanoke, Texas. "We" and "us" in this policy mean that company.
What we collect and why
Website analytics, only if you accept. If you click Accept on the cookie notice, we use Google Analytics to see how the site is used: which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are located, what kind of device and browser they use, and whether they click a booking button, the phone number or the IT health check. If you click Decline, or make no choice, Google Analytics is not loaded and none of this is collected.
Your cookie choice. We store your Accept or Decline choice in your own browser so we do not ask again on every page. It is not sent to us.
The IT health check. Your answers stay in your browser and are not sent to us. If you accepted analytics, we record that the check was completed and the score out of 10, but not your individual answers and nothing that identifies your company.
When you contact us or book a call. If you phone us, write to us or book a call, we use the details you give us, such as your name, company, email address and phone number, to reply and to provide the service you asked about. Call bookings are handled by Microsoft Bookings, so the details you enter there are processed by Microsoft on our behalf.
Server logs. Like most websites, our web server keeps a standard log of requests. It includes the IP address, the page requested, the time, and the browser type. We use it to keep the site running and secure.
Fonts. The site's typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches them, Google receives your IP address, as it would for any web request.
Cookies and browser storage
- _ga and _ga_9MZ3MPTQNR (Google Analytics). Set only after you click Accept. They tell one visit from another and last up to two years.
- liveit-cookies (browser storage, not a cookie). Remembers your Accept or Decline choice until you clear it.
We do not use advertising or social media tracking cookies.
Who we share information with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run this site and respond to you:
- Google, for website analytics (if you accept) and fonts
- Microsoft, for call bookings and email
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Analytics data is kept by Google for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account. Enquiries and booking details are kept for as long as we need them to respond to you and to maintain our business records.
Your choices
You can change your cookie choice at any time. This clears the choice saved in your browser, removes the Google Analytics cookies for this site, and shows the cookie notice again.
You can also ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond.
Children
This site is for businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the effective date at the top.
